Manchester's Ship Canal

In my last weekend of July, I've decided to go for a different walk and visit the surroundings of Manchester. I got in a tram, of the Metro Link, and I went to MediaCity Uk, which is a wonderful and relaxing area, located at Salford Quays on the bank of Manchester's ship canal.

The way there is super pleasant, we can see the buildings and the brown houses and warehouses. We can have a look at the river that runs, until we reach a place where the futuristic architecture abounds - MediaCity Uk! It's true! Well, I've researched some images of this area, but now I can finally see it. It's fantastic! It's such a nice and relaxing place, with the ship canal in the middle and the curious swans! I got the idea that loads of people come here to enjoy these sunny Summer days. The buildings are absolutly amazing and there are a lot of apartments and offices!
I took a quick look to The Lowry, which is rich in entertainment and arts, and I visited the Lowry Shop which is filled with gorgeous items and postcards! I actually bought some to send to my friends and family!
I stopped by the Cafe Rouge and I sat on the terrace, where I enjoyed a delicious hot tea.

And then I just had to catch the tram back to Piccadilly Gardens.
It was a lovely afternoon, and I hope I can go back there and breathe that relaxing environment once again!
