Our Christmas

It's so nice to be home for Christmas. It's such a special season and I feel lucky because I can live it with those I love. That's what Christmas is all about: love and peace, the comfort of our home and our loved ones. 

For our Christmas night, we prepared the typical meal: 

- appetizers, like cheese, bread and shrimps. 

- the main dish: cod fish with cabbages.

- the desserts: Bolo-rei (in english: King-Cake), Honey Cake, Rice Pudding, Meringues, etc.

We had some laughs and conversations while watching some TV Shows, and at Midnight we opened our Christmas gifts. 

On the next day, the 25th of December, we had our Christmas lunch. For lunch, we always eat turkey and what's left of the desserts! Well..obviously we can't eat everything because...it really is a lot of food! 

After lunch, we took a long walk around our neighbourhood. It was such a sunny day! 

A lovely, special and warm Christmas Day.
