On the other day, I had the pleasure to have lunch in a fantastic restaurant here in Évora. I've been curious about it for a long time because it is different from what I'm used to.
It's called "Restaurante Vauban" and it's located in a Professional School, associated to the Hotel Management course. So it means that the students of this course are those who cook and serve the customers in that restaurant!
They present us food with regional flavours, served in a very refined way.
As appetizers we had mushrooms, codfish with peppers and pork, everything deliciously spiced. A glass of white wine is the perfect choice to go along with the adorable main dishes!
The desserts are to die for: cheese with egg cream, the famous petit gateau with vanilla ice-cream and pear, and the our typical Sericaia. These are all great options.
It was very nice and I know now that they also serve breakfasts! One of this mornings, maybe I'll go there to try something!
This is a good place to visit, I really recommend it! :)
Nossa, que delícia! Fiquei com água na boca. Parece que tudo é feito com muito capricho mesmo, lindo!
