Coffee, burgers and strawberries

What a beautiful weekend this was! Such summer temperatures and sunny skies, what else can we ask for?! I've done quite a lot this weekend and I've been to a few new places, so here I give you three suggestions! The first one is this new cafe in Chaussée de Charleroi, super cute, nice atmosphere, perfect to chill out while having a cup of coffee or tea. They have different types of coffee, teas, hot chocolate, muffins and cake! The place is really nice inside, big, different rooms where you can stay, and with a nice balcony, perfect for days like these! Everyone is very friendly, so I would totally recommend this new place, and I will surely go there more often!

Mas que lindo foi este fim-de-semana! Temperaturas de Verão e céus ensolarados, que mais podemos pedir? Este fim-de-semana fiz bastantes coisas e estive nuns quantos sítios novos, por isso aqui ficam 3 sugestões! A primeira é este novo café em Chaussée de Charleroi, super giro, bom ambiente, perfeito para descansar enquanto tomas um café ou um chá. Eles têm diferentes variedades de café, chás, chocolate quente, muffins e bolos! O sítio é muito bonito por dentro, tem diferentes salas onde se pode estar, e tem uma esplanada gira, perfeita para dias como estes! Toda a gente é muito simpática, por isso eu recomendo este sítio totalmente, e segurante voltarei lá mais vezes!

L'Amour Fou

This is one of the places I was dying to go to. I was so happy to go there with my friend Filipa and I was very pleased! It's in Ixelles, in front of Place Fernand Cocq. They have a huge variety of burgers, from the classic ones to the more alternative and original ones with inspiration from all over the world. This place is also very famous for the banoffee pie but really, after my burger, I couldn't eat anything else! I had a vegetarian burger, they call it "Popeye", it's a spinach burger, with goat's cheese, rocket, apple, beetroot and cashew nuts, with sweet potatoes and salad. It was so delicious that I'm still thinking about it! I love these original options for burgers instead of using meat! Yummy! The place inside is really nice and cosy, the decoration is very cute, so definitely a good place to go!

Este é um dos sítios onde eu estava desejosa de ir. Fiquei tão feliz de ir lá com a minha amiga Filipa e fiquei muito satisfeita! É em Ixelles, em frente à Place Fernand Cocq. Eles têm uma enorme variedade de hambúrgueres, desde os clássicos aos mais alternativos e originais com inspiração de todo o mundo. Este sítio é também muito conhecido pela "Banoffee Pie" mas a sério, depois do meu hambúrguer, eu não conseguia comer mais nada! Eu comi um hambúrguer vegetariano, chamam-lhe "Popeye", é um hambúrguer de espinafres, com queijo de cabra, rúcula, maçã, beterraba e caju, acompanhado de batata doce e salada. Estava tão delicioso que ainda estou a pensar nisto! Adoro estas alternativas originais para hambúrgueres sem usar carne! Delicioso! O sítio é muito giro e confortável, a decoração é muito porreira, por isso definitivamente é um sítio a ir!

Parc Josaphat

Today, Sunday, still with such an amazing weather, was the perfect day to join my friend Muriel for a picnic in a beautiful parq called Parc Josaphat. It's in Schaerbeek. The parq is really big, with loads of green spaces where people can sit and enjoy the sunshine, with some ponds and decorated with a nice collection of statues from different sculptors. It felt so good to be lying on the grass, enjoying delicious strawberries with chocolate (our new favourite dessert!). I love these things, and that's the kind of thing you need when the weather is like this! This week, we will still have nice temperatures, hopefully it will stay for a long time! Exciting news: I booked a weekend in Berlin with a friend for the last weekend of May! Also, I already have some plans for June, so it's gonna be a great Summer!

Hoje, Domingo, ainda com este tempo fantástico, foi o dia perfeito para me juntar à minha amiga Muriel para um pique-nique num parque lindo chamado Parc Josaphat. É em Schaerbeek. Este parque é muito grande, com imensos espaços verdes para as pessoas se sentarem a desfrutar da luz do sol, com algumas lagoas e decorado com uma bela colecção de estátuas de diferentes escultores. Foi tão bom estar deitada na relva, a comer deliciosos morangos com chocolate (a nossa nova sobremesa favorita!). Eu adoro estas coisas, e é mesmo o tipo de coisas que precisamos quando o tempo está assim! Esta semana ainda teremos boas temperaturas, espero que fique assim por muito tempo! Notícias fantásticas: reservei um fim-de-semana em Berlim com uma amiga, no último fim-de-semana de Maio! Além disso, já tenho alguns planos para Junho, por isso vai ser um Verão fantástico!
