Two little suggestions

The weather has not been really friendly lately, so it gives me no willing to walk around the city... The wind is so strong and the noise is quite scary actually! Still, I hate staying at home the whole day, and despite going to the gym, I decided to go out and do something else. So I didn't take any special pictures, but I've visited a couple of places that I would like to share with you, in case you come to Brussels and you want to go there! So this is just a small post with some suggestions! Hope you like it.

O tempo não tem sido muito amigável ultimamente, o que me deixa sem vontade de andar pela cidade... O vento é tão forte e o ruído é bastante assustador! AInda assim, eu detesto estar em casa todo o dia, e apesar de ir ao ginásio, decidi sair e fazer outra coisa. Não tenho fotografias especiais, mas visitei uns sítios que gostaria de partilhar com vocês, caso venham a Bruxelas e queiram lá ir! Por isso, esta é apenas uma pequena publicação com algumas sugestões! Espero que gostem!

Coffee Company

• Rue du Midi 45 - 1000 Bruxelles •

Saturday afternoon, I went out with a friend to the centre of Brussels, just to explore some different places. I must say I'm pretty impressed with the area of De Brouckere and Bourse, because if we cross the busy avenue to get to the little streets, we find so many nice things, like this Cafe, in Rue du Midi. They have regular coffees, lattes and cappuccinos, teas, hot chocolate and cold drinks. A delicious variety of cakes, as well as savory food like quiches, salades. It's not very big but it was very crowded that day, I guess it's a place where a lot of people like to go and enjoy, plus they have free wifi. The ambience is really nice, so it's definetly a good place to go with your friends!

Sábado à tarde, eu fui com uma amiga até ao centro de Bruxelas, apenas para explorar lugares diferentes. Devo dizer que fiquei bem impressionada com a área de De Brouckere e Bourse porque se atravessarmos a avenida movimentada para chegarmos às ruas pequenas, encontramos tantas coisas bonitas, como este café na Rue du Midi. Eles têm cafés normais, lattes e cappuccinos, chás, chocolate quente e bebidas frias. Uma deliciosa variedade de bolos, assim como de salgados, como quiches e saladas. Não é um sítio muito grande, mas estava bastante cheio naquele dia, acho que é um sítio onde muita gente gosta de ir desfrutar, além disso eles têm wifi grátis. O ambiente é muito fixe, por isso é sem dúvida um sítio onde ir com amigos!

Mr.Ego

After my delicious latte, we went through the streets and we got to Rue des Pierres where we found an amazing alternative shop, called Mr.Ego. It's a very trendy and urban clothing store with a huge selection of brands! From clothes, to shoes and accessories, it is a very pleasant place to visit, and they have a DJ in the shop! So, perfect combination: live music, art and urban fashion. This place is really cool and the fitting rooms have beautiful wallpapers! So, if you're looking for something different, moving away from the commercial brands, listen to nice music while you go through every garment, this is the place! Depois do meu Latte delicioso, fomos andando pelas ruas e chegámos à Rue des Pierres onde encontrámos uma fantástica loja alternativa, chamada Mr.Ego. É uma loja bastante trendy e urbana com uma enorme selecção de marcas! Desde roupas, a sapatos e acessórios, é um sítio bastante agradável para visitar, e eles têm um DJ na loja! Então, é a combinação perfeita: música ao vivo, arte e moda urbana. Este sítio é muito fixe e os provadores têm papeis de parede lindíssimos! Por isso, se procuras algo diferente, afastando-se das marcas comerciais, ouvir música porreira enquanto vasculhas cada peça de roupa, este é o lugar!
