Back in Antwerp

Me and my dear friend Filipa decided to go to Antwerp this Saturday, to escape the routine we have in Brussels and actually see something else! So we went to Antwerp to visit the Fashion Museum (MOMU) which now has an amazing exhibition regarding feathers and plumes in Fashion! So basically, there were loads of garments and accessories from well know Fashion Designers, made with feathers! Though I don't agree to what they did to the birds, I must say the final result is outstanding! There were really amazing dresses and others a bit more... creepy!

Eu e a minha querida amiga Filipa decidimos ir até Antuérpia este Sábado, para escapar da rotina que temos em Bruxelas e ver outra coisa qualquer! Por isso, fomos até Antuérpia para visitar o Museu da Moda (MOMU) que agora tem uma exposição fantástica sobre Penas e Plumas na Moda! Portanto, basicamente, havia imensas roupas e acessórios de vários Estilistas conhecidos, tudo feito com penas! Apesar de eu não concordar com o que fizeram com os pássaros, tenho de confessar que o resultado final é extraordinário! Havia vestidos fantásticos e outros um bocado mais...assustadores!

Sissy-Boy

Sissy-Boy is a Dutch brand, centered in fashion and lifestyle. Their products are mostly clothes, interior decoration, food and beverage. With a very positive and alternative style, this shop offers a lot of good items and it's such a thrill to visit! We visited this shop after the Museum, because it's right next to it. There is another Sissy-boy in the main shopping street of Antwerp. After that, we walked around the centre of Antwerp, the main square, with all the bars and restaurants, the more touristic area of this city. We were very lucky with the weather and before we left we found Moochie, an amazing shop with frozen yogurt, so delicious and fresh! Great day in Antwerp.

A Sissy-Boy é uma marca Holandesa, centrada em Moda e "Lifestyle". Os seus productos são basicamente roupas, decoração, comida e bebidas. Com um estilo bastante positivo e alternativo, esta loja oferece imensos artigos geniais e é óptima de se visitar! Fomos a esta loja a seguir ao Museu, porque fica mesmo ao lado. Há outra loja Sissy-Boy na principal rua de lojas de Antuérpia. Depois disto, passeámos pelo centro de Antuérpia, a praça principal, com todos os bares e restaurantes, a área mais turística desta cidade. Tivemos muita sorte com o tempo e antes de irmos embora, encontrámos Moochie, uma loja fantástica com "frozen yogurt", tão delicioso e fresquinho! Belo dia em Antuérpia.

La Mercerie

Once, I was walking around the Flagey area when I found out this beautiful place that I've read about before in other blogs: La Mercerie! So today, I finally decided to go there and enjoy this place! It's an amazing Tea Room, with a very special decoration! It's the right place for breakfast, brunch, teas and coffee. There is so much light inside, very natural, it makes it so special. It's not very big but it was not very crowded. I had a delicious hot chocolate and scones! I would like to go there again for brunch, I've read on their menu they have different types of brunch and breakfasts so, I should definetly go and try it! I totally recommend it.

Uma vez, eu estava a passear por Flagey, quando encontrei este lindo sítio sobre o qual já tinha lido noutros blogs: La Mercerie! Por isso, hoje, decidi finalmente ir lá e disfrutar deste sítio! É um fantástico salão de chá, com uma decoração muito especial! É o sítio perfeito para pequenos-almoços, "brunch", chás e café. Tem tanta luminosidade lá dentro, muito natural, o que torna tudo mais especial. Não é muito grande, mas não estava muito cheio. Eu bebi um delicioso chocolate quente, e comi uns scones! Gostava de ir lá novamente e experimentar o brunch, eu li no menu que eles têm diferentes tipos de brunch e pequeno-almoço, por isso tenho mesmo que ir lá experimentar! Eu totalmente recomendo este sítio!

It won't be long

Within 5 days, I will go back to Portugal to spend a weekend at home, with my folks! I haven't been to Portugal since Christmas, so I really need (and deserve!) these few days. I really can't wait to see them again and be at my real home, with those who truly care about me. I look forward to go and see my friends again, spend some time with them, just goofing around like we always do! I'm so excited to eat my mum's food, she's an amazing cook! I hope the weather will be nice there, warm and cosy! It won't be long...

Dentro de 5 dias, vou voltar a Portugal para passar o fim-de-semana em casa, com os meus! Não vou a Portugal desde o Natal, por isso eu preciso mesmo (e mereço!) estes poucos dias. Não posso mesmo esperar para os ver de novo e estar no meu verdadeiro lar, com aqueles que realmente se importam comigo. Estou ansiosa para ir e ver os meus amigos, passar algum tempo com eles, na patetice como fazemos sempre! Estou entusiasmadíssima para comer a comida da minha mãe, ela cozinha tão bem! Espero que o tempo esteja bom por lá, quentinho e confortável! Não falta muito...
